As an initiative of Madison Energy Infrastructure, Solar Empowered Schools helps school communities take part in the shift to renewable energy. SES pairs solar installations with classroom learning, giving educators and students new ways to engage with clean energy. Our role was to translate that mission into a brand, voice, and digital presence that could reach districts across the country.

What The Client Wanted
The ask was to create a compelling identity that didn’t just explain what SES does, but made people feel its value. That meant building a system that could educate, engage, and build long-term relationships with communities—while supporting Madison’s broader business goals.
What We Made Happen
We created the SES brand from scratch: logo, voice, color palette, type system—the works. We built a high-impact website and partnered with a former teacher to develop a K–12 curriculum complete with lesson plans, videos, and interactive content aligned with national standards. To launch it all, we rolled out a national campaign targeting educators and led in-person activations like ribbon cuttings and volunteer events. One of the standout moments? A custom VR experience that let students step inside their school’s solar project. Today, SES is not just a strong brand—it’s a growth engine, a trust builder, and a proof point that purpose-led branding drives real-world results.
