Whole Foods Market
Before co-founding Mighty Fine, Crystal worked with Whole Foods Market’s South region team to design and scale community engagement programs. The goal was to deepen customer loyalty, elevate regional identity, and position the brand as more than just a grocery store—without losing its premium feel.
Visit WebsiteClient Background
The South region was one of Whole Foods’ fastest-growing markets, with diverse cultural influences and customer needs. The marketing challenge was to build relevance at the neighborhood level while maintaining the national brand’s integrity.

What The Client Wanted
Whole Foods Market sought to align its community engagement strategy with local values, strengthen brand loyalty, and achieve measurable business results.
What We Made Happen
Leadership: In dual roles as Marketing Team Leader and Community Liaison, I scaled local store marketing into a regional impact program. High-Visibility Events: 15+ activations, including health expos, music collaborations, and school volunteer days. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborations with nonprofits, wellness experts, artists, and food entrepreneurs that reflected community values. Tangible Results: Outreach and activation programs led to a 5% increase in store traffic and measurable improvements in brand perception, especially in emerging markets.
